2010 Mutt Madd-ness Rescue Stories... Notes & photos from our wonderful families...

Another Brilliant Mutt Madd-ness Pup - Louie graduating Summa Canine-laude. Congratulations!
Louie recently graduated from his PetSmart class. He was the star pupil of course! I really love my Louie and Louie loves everyone.
My co-workers say I am like a new Mom; always talking about him, carrying dog treats in my purse and showing off his pictures.
I lucked out when I walked into PetSmart that Saturday and talked to you and Karen. Of course I think he landed on his paws too!
Thanks, Rebecca ( Louie's Mom )

Little Winnie has sprouted into Little Zoey
She is one happy puppy, who loves rolling around in the yard and playing chase (and wrestling)
with her big brother Ziggy.

Fritter now Langston has his college roommate thing down pat!
The first photo is when he convinced me to take a study break. Can't resist that face! The 2nd was on the 4th of July.
We went to a cookout and he was holding my seat while I went to get some more potato salad.:-) Kali

What is it with Mutt Madd-ness Dogs and Lounging?! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ they're cute...
Just wanted to update you on Nessa. We re-named her Sophie and she is full of life!!
The Border Collie has certainly emerged, as she will not let one of us out of her sight. I guess we should have named her “Shadow”.
She is the biggest foodie and will steal a banana right out of your hand. Her favorite, most loved toy is our daughter’s
old soccer ball. She could have been a star player for the USA team at the world cup.
We love her. Keep up the good work at Mutt Maddness! All the best, Parks family Kert, Kelly, Emma and Will

The is one Spike that you don't mind being stuck with!
Spike is doing great. He is eat and drinking like a champ. He loves to play in the lawn with us and likes to go on walks.
Spike and Josh are having so much fun together as you can see in the picture. Spike also likes to take long naps on his new pillow.
We will continue to keep you updated on how he is. Thanks you so much for our cute little boy! The Elliott's

They Love their Reese's to pieces!
Reese (now Denver) is 9 months old and loads of fun! We are delighted to have him,
he's very sweet and plays constantly with our 3 boys and older dog. Jacquelyn

Smokey is having a smokin' good time - thanks to you guys! Then and now, WOW!
It has been almost a year to the day since we adopted Smokey from Mutt Maddness-- I can't believe how fast time flies!
I think we were actually one of your first "adopters" after meeting you and Smokey at the Pet Smart on Johnson Ferry Road.

As I recall, Smokey had a sister and a mother who you also rescued. My two sons and I saw Smokey and fell in love with him. Before we officially adopted him we went on the Mutt Maddness website and printed off a picture of Smokey and both boys, to this day, still have that picture above their beds. Smokey has been a wonderful addition to our family and I can't even imagine a day without him. He is well cared for and well loved! He loves going to my in-laws cabin about two hours outside of Atlanta and wading in the creek and pond. I just wanted to update you and let you know what a great life he has and what a blessing he has been to us. Keep up the great work with Mutt Maddness!

Fondly, Jeannie, Patrick and Kevin

I wanted to give you an update on how much we love Gypsy (aka Sammie)! She never ceases to amaze us in regards to her happy attitude, her playfulness, her gentleness and her intelligence. There was literally no adjustment - she simply fit into our home as if she has lived here forever. She greets us when we come home as if we are the most special people on Earth, and she smiles all the time! I wanted to thank for all that you do in not only helping needy animals find homes but also in helping families find joy through these wonderful animals!

Sincerely,
Janine Searcy

Our little hockey pup Annie has nothing but stars in her eyes since finding Abbe and Kari ...Dallas Stars that is!
Annie is doing great she's just one of the crew! She's so big now you wouldn't believe it but she definitely still acts like a big puppy
and is crazy as ever. She's been a wonderful addition to the family because she has the happiest personality!  She is a mama's girl
for sure she follows me so closely sometimes that she steps on the back of my flip flops as I'm walking ha ha! Abbe

Stetson Pre & Post Adoption - doesn't matter which side he's on - he's still feeling the love...yum!!
We love him so much, thank you for all you do :-) The Stockard Family

Who needs a Finn when you have a brother like Eli! You go Huck!
Huck and Eli are starting to act like brothers..... they have fun running in the yard together and have begun to share a dog bed!

A sprinkle a day...
Sprinkles, now named Allie, is doing great and loves to be active. She goes for at least one walk a day and is now spending her weekend at a variety of parks in the area. She also did very well with potty training and hasn't had an accident in quite awhile. And although she is active she loves to cuddle and take naps too. :) She's got quite the personality and loves life, especially when she pulls all her toys out in the living room. All is well, I can't imagine life without her! Chantelle

Willie has finally found home!
Our sweet little Pyrenees, under the guidance, patience and love from his new family and a couple of buddies, finally
knows what it feels like to be home. We are so thrilled with how he's doing - he deserved a great life and he got one!

What a picture perfect Snow Angel little Loki is!
Homer is doing great. Putting on some weight and growing bigger by the day. We ended up renaming him Loki and
he's getting along with Wolf a little better every day. He's getting some black hair in on his back...
it started with just a few hairs but now its spreading more.

Combine that together with his attitude and the way his body looks and we think he might be mixed with Corgi.
Although it does still seem a mystery what he really is a mix of. At least we know the Husky part. He likes to nip
at heels and at Wolf's fur trying to herd us around; so I could easily see Corgi or Aussie.

He loved the snow the other day... he kept playing with it and eating it and trying to make
doggie snow angels by laying down in it and rolling around. - Jimmy

Stella getting her groove thing on with Stitch (now Keeko)
She is doing GREAT!! She is already responding to "keeko" and is such a sweet puppy. She woke up at 4am the first
night whimpering. We let her sleep in our bed that night and she was a snuggle puppy!
The funny thing has been seeing Stella get a little envious. She's torn between loving the puppy and not
getting all the attention. This will be great for all of us!

Jake and Leo - nee Schultz & Bowtie...when Germany met the Donut it was love at first bite!
Here are my boys!!! I love the picture of Jake in the dishwasher... He is such a big boy! - Dianna

What a Jewel! She certainly makes us sparkle...she's like polished amber.
We have had so much fun raising Jewels. She is an absolute blast to be around. We weighed her last at a nail clipping
visit and she was about 55 pounds. And that's at only about 6 months old! She is so well behaved and very smart.
She loves other dogs, and of course trips to the dog parks. We couldn't have found a better puppy. I thank everyone
at Mutt Maddness for helping us find the perfect playmate and the best friend we could ask for. Best wishes and keep
up the great rescue work. Sincerely, Tony, Stephanie and Jewels

Zelda - Re-meet your sister Jewels (photo above) WOW - these sisters are yummy!
Zelda is great-quite the guard dog and a bit shy w/ strangers till she gets to know them. Most folks think she
has Shepherd and/or Akita in her...beautiful coat and almost 50 lbs at the moment. If only she'd stop chasing our cat Viola!
Peace, Michelle

Meg and Skip you sure have a cutie on your hands. Cooper is stellar!
Looks just like his sisters Jewels and Zelda... WHAT?*%$! Who's your daddy?

It's little Lulu 'our knuckling over pup' relaxing at her mountain top home & playing with Roscoe.
I can't say enough about the happiness LuLu has brought into our home. We thought having a third dog inside might
be too much but when we saw LuLu on your website it was decided...she stole our hearts. Roscoe (our American Pit Bull)
has been teaching her how to play and when necessary how to behave. They are so much fun to watch run and can play
tug-of-war forever. Mandy (Aussie /Lab mix) is most patient and allows LuLu to climb all over her and chew her ears.
LuLu loves our vet and we do believe she is getting better with her front legs. She only "knuckles over" when very tired.
She is growing like a weed and is trying to eat us out of house and home! All I can say is we totally love her and
can't imagine our lives with out her. She is our forever girl. Denise and Bob

Brady (aka Andy) one of our tennis tag team. Looking for love!
He found it with Jana!

Viva La Juneaux, our little Alaskan bon vivant loves being part of the Fox family!
He is doing really well! He is very smart, learned his basic commands in no time at all. He gets lots of attention.
He has been a great addition to the family, and the little stinker is ALMOST potty trained. He will sit by the front door to go out,
but if you don’t come when he is silently waiting…he will give us a surprise, LOL.
We are thinking of giving him a bell at the door since he refuses to bark unless it is play time!

Marble now Roxy knows how to play her hand!
First she's playing clean up on just about anything she can find...forget the recycle company. Bad Roxy!
And then she plays cute sleeping with her big sister. What are we going to do?

Baby Hugo with the other "dude" - DAD and kissing sister Maya.
We are still undecided on a name for him but here are some pictures! Him and Maya have already developed a kinship
with one another. We couldn’t be happier with our new addition. Erin and Billy

One of Shakespeare's Gentlemen
Glaze - now Petruchio enjoying just a few of his toys. Do I see spoiled, spoiled, toil and trouble? I think
he's actually tamed the shrew...we knew with looks like his she would succumb.

Cherie AKA "Principessa" - I see a very spoiled girl and love it!!
Attached are portraits of Greyce Cherie. She has been an absolute joy. Thank you again for all your help and guidance.
Feel free to come visit her whenever you like. I'll keep you updated with portraits as she grows. Thanks, Michael

ONCE AN ALLIE, NOW A CALLIE and ONE (MAKE THAT TWO) VERY HAPPY GIRLS!

...You'll be thrilled to know that Callie is getting along GREAT with our cat. She's getting along great with our two other doggies-
she ranks below our Staffie and above the fox hound, and shares all of her toys, treats and even her pillow and kennel
with the others. She's loving the 5 acres that she gets to run around on, and hopefully she won't be TOO mad at me
when she comes home to only a big backyard!

Anyway, I just wanted to give you an update about Callie. Oh, and everyone who sees her falls in love with her, they say how
adorable she is! Callie definitely is a part of my family now, and I am just indescribably thrilled with how amazing she is.
I will definitely try to make it up on the 25th, hopefully I'll be able to bring her up and show her off!

Thanks again, I'm so grateful to have found my dog through you all! Regards, Corin

Nevada the Charmer

Stephen and Joy are absolutely in love with this little girl. She has them totally wrapped, but we think that's what it's all about!

Gigi, now "Sammy" keeps her eye on the camera.
This little cutie knows how photogenic and how happy she is with her new family.
Small things now come in 40# packages, all to the delight of her buddies.

Lizzy Getting Settled.

Brie (right) welcoming her new baby sister 4 month old Lizzy. We think they look beautiful together and Brie is delighted to have a sibling to romp around the house with. Brie and Lizzy are both Mutt Madd-ness rescues and fabulous children to Nancy and Greg.

Greg's note to Joel who originally rescued Lizzy:

"...She is doing awesome and is an incredible puppy. It is overwhelmingly apparent that you were a major influence on her early development and provided her with a safe and loving environment. Thanks again for being so kind and providing our new girl with a wonderful place to stay, you are a very kind man."

Maggie, Snow Princess!

Here is Maggie and her big brother playing in the snow! She is doing great. Thanks for a great daughter!
Brian and Gail

Ricco Alert! Hey handsome...

Hi Barbara, I just wanted share a new picture of Ricco. You will never believe how big he is getting....weighed in at 46 pounds yesterday. Do you have any news on any of his siblings?  Are they as big as him? Are they all doing OK? He is a total sweetheart and very smart and
I don't think there is a mean bone in his body.

Sincerely, Kelly

Marley looking cuter than ever!

Just wanted to let you know that we are still madly in puppy love with our Birch (now Marley) that we adopted from you this past summer. He continues to be a dream come true for our family! It is still so hard to comprehend that he was a rescue from a shelter! We are truly convinced that he really is the BEST PUPPY IN THE WORLD and we just wonder how we go so lucky!!! Thank you for making it possible.

Birch loved jumping in the autumn leaves in the fall and was featured in our Christmas card this past holiday season.
Hope you enjoy the photos. He says "hello" and "woof-woof" to you! If you are ever in the Dalton area
or traveling north on I-75 we would LOVE for you to visit! Sincerely, Chrissy

Dante our little snow loving pup!

Bella of the Balla
Just wanted to give you an update on Bella. Bella is doing very well and growing.
Bella still likes to cuddle as you can see by one of the pictures. She does have her moments of being a wild child but she is still learning. She still likes to chew on things so we are working on that and of course she still has a couple accidents every now and then.
Over all she has adapted well and we love her to death.

I will send update pics as she grows so you can see her mature. Talk to you later and thanks again for allowing us to adopt her. Tim

Maggie enjoying the dog's life.
Attached are a couple of my favorites and, as you can see, I think she's made herself comfortable!!
She is such a joy; always happy and ready for adventure. She's very smart too, and has been so easy to train.
When she's tired, she will just curl up with me in a chair. She and her new pals, Elvis and Ellie, are quite the trio! Ann

A Happy - Content Juliette

Juliette is doing great. She has mastered a couple of tricks including crawl and shake. She has befriended my parents’ 3 year old
lab/setter mix. She comes when she called even when there are birds which I think are her favorite thing since food. Kelsey

Sweet Sierra with Mama Brie.
The pups are adored by their families and live close enough to play together.
