Luna was adopted in 2019 and was from our Alaska Litter. From the family-"Due to some unforeseen circumstances, our 6-year-old husky/boxer, Luna, needs a home. We’ve had her for 6 years; she is amazing with adults and kids. She can be intimidating to other dogs; however, she has a companion dog who submits to her, and they get along great. She has zero aggression towards people, absolutely loves kids (we have a toddler and an older child), she is territorial of her home space and doesn’t like other pets close by. She is playful 24/7 and a licker. She has been an outside dog her entire life but sleeps inside our garage in her custom dog bed. She would make a great indoor or outdoor dog, but we have the land that allows her to be free on our property. She is not a wanderer and loves staying close to home. Say hello to Miracle - she came into our rescue yesterday from another foster who nurtured her until her 2 puppies were weaned. We are hoping someone will fall in love with this sweetheart and make her a part of a loving family. A month ago, her owner ran afoul with the law and is spending some time away and left her without food, water and expecting! Miracle gave birth to 5 little ones but only 2 survived. She did the best she could under the conditions she was living in. Luckily a kind neighbor found some help for her. Miracle is a very sweet 43 lb. Pit Bull mix girl who loves to give cuddles and kisses. She is familiar with “come” and “sit” and very eager to learn more. She already knows how to use the doggy door all by herself when it is time to go to the bathroom. She has been tested with other adult dogs and did well - she can be a bit submissive.
