*** GUEST DOG RE-HOME — PLEASE SHARE *** Luda's family sadly has found themselves needing to re-home their Covid puppy. Luda has been with these owners since he was 10 weeks old. If you are interested in meeting this handsome boy, please contact Chelsea Bowen- 404-992-8412 or email: email@example.com We got him before the quarantine and our lives are much different than anticipated. He's a sweet boy, but we can't take care of him for much longer. We believe that the apartment setting was a contributor to his current behavior and there is not enough space for him as well. During that time there was a lot of construction and emergencies occurring around the building. He isn't destructive and mainly chews on toys and sometimes chews. Luda was not socialized due to Covid and now is fearful of people - his behavior when outside walking is barking, lunging, & growling until he gets used to the person. He has never snapped or shown teeth and becomes submissive when approached by a new person. We have been training with the help of a friend who trains dogs. We only use positive reinforcement. He is a 8 month old neutered male lab/cattle dog mix (we think) Between 40-55 lbs up to date on all vaccines and flea and tick. No allergies or health problems. Crate and House Trained Lives with one cat and no other dogs. LOVES dogs (goes to doggy day care) Nervous/Fearful of new people/children and takes a while to warm up. He tends to be reactive to strangers outside of the home and seems to do better with introductions inside the home. He does the best around people where a lot of dogs are around as he loves other dogs. He is currently receiving reactivity training and getting better everyday. He is very sweet and loving once he's had a chance to know you. He is great with grooming needs with his owners and knows basic commands. Does not do well in apartments and requires lots of space to run around. He has no bite history. View full description »
From the owner... Coco (the white one) is a male. *blind* Is literally a live teddy bear, and would cuddle/lay on your lap all day if possible. He tends to still think he is a tiny little puppy and loves to climb all over you and give you kisses. All he needs to get him to him going is a tiny attention and he is all over you. He loves belly rubs and to play with toys. They usually don’t last with him, as he chews through all his toys. But he has lots of fun while the last. He does not like to play fetch, instead he likes to be chased. He likes to show you a toy so you can try and take it from him. He is potty trained but if he has to go he will go inside occasionally. Before he went blind he was over protective with me and did not do well with other dogs. But since he can no longer see I haven’t noticed the same. He tends to do well with kids, so long as they do not hurt him. Daisy (the black one) is a female. Shes a total princess, she is sassy, loyal, spoiled and always ends up getting what she wants. In her eyes all stuffed animals and toys/balls are hers. She loves to play fetch, she could play fetch all day if possible, never gets tired. She loves car rides, to eat meat and lay in bed under the blankets where she is most cozy. She is potty trained and would never go inside. She is as loyal as a dog can get, she has never so much growled at me. Such a good girl, but is not good with little kids or other dogs. (Until they play fetch with her) Once she knows you and is familiar with you, she is very loyal. Both are 6 years old spayed/neutered. All of their shots are up to date. During their entire lifetime they have lived indoors, and have never gone an entire day outside, so they are Not outside dogs. I mostly speak Spanish to them so technically they speak Spanish. From Foster Lori - We are temporarily fostering a stray brought to us Nov 2019 and need help to get him adopted into a furever home. Ranger is fully vaccinated, neutered, has microchip and heartworm negative. Please contact Ranger's foster family to meet him and get adoption info: Lori 404-376-3776. Looking for love at first sight? You found him! Meet your new best friend! Ranger will love you unconditionally, provide constant companionship and LOTS of snuggling. Ranger LOVES people and is eager to meet everyone, bounding up with a big smile, begging to be pet. Then he'll happily melt at your feet. Ranger is energetic, dog-friendly and likes playing, chasing and clowning around with other dogs in the yard, as well as cuddling up and napping with them. Ranger would enjoy a multi dog family with a fenced yard to play and sunbathe. But, as YOUR best friend, Ranger prefers to spend most of his time by your side throughout the day, as you cook, clean, or binge TV on the couch. Ranger is an attentive listener, intuitive to your feelings, caring, and offers empathetic snuggles. Ranger is an adult (4 yo+) neutered male pit bull terrier mix, 60 lbs, brown with white neck, feet and snout. Ranger was found as a stray in awful condition suffering from separation anxiety and skin allergies; but he is SO resilient! Strong, healthy, velvety soft and full of love! Ranger is ready for his new best friend to bring him home where he will feel safe and loved at last.
