Here's the story of six lovely puppies, Who were looking for families of their own. All of them had fur of gold, like their mother (we think), The smallest one so cute. Here's the story, of a pup named Jan, Who was busy with three toys of her own, They were six pups, living all together, Yet they were all alone. 'Til the one day when the puppies joined the Madd-ness, And we knew it was much more than a hunch, That this group would somehow find their families. That's the way they all became the Brady Bunch. The Brady Bunch, That's the way we all became the Brady Bunch. The Brady Bunch! ... If you're interested in meeting these sweet pups, please submit an application. http://www.muttmaddness.org/adopt-2/adoptable-dogs/online-adoption-application/ View full description »

A Good Samaritan saved this little girl and we are now caring for her and trying to find a forever family. Baby was found emaciated, malnourished, covered in skin rashes, with oozing paw pads, and signs of abuse. She is an incredibly sweet girl, a lap dog, and just wants to be near people. She has been near women, men, children, a dog, and a cat, and shown no signs of aggression. She shows no food aggression. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash. From the Current Foster She needs someone that’s willing to go slow with her. She’s still very intimidated by common household things and fast-paced movement. She can be awkward at times like trying to play with the toys she’s not sure how to. She’s not huge on cuddling but definitely loves affection. She would do well in a home with other dog(s) just to show her how to behave like one. She gets the zoomies a lot but when she does sometimes, she’ll nip your butt while she runs around you. I’ve been making her sit and telling her no every time she does it, but it seems she can’t control her excitement quite yet. She does amazing with children. She follows them around and licks them and just wants their company. Right now, she seeks you and follows you everywhere - she needs some confidence building, she does not want to be alone. I’ve been trying to teach her some commands because she has not had anyone take the time to do that. When you try to help guide her to sit down, she flinches - she will need a patient teacher and given time with her temperament we feel certain she can and will develop into the perfect family companion. A fenced yard would be great, but an active walker/hiker would fill the need for her exploration and energy. If you would like additional information on this young girl, please contact us. ***GUEST DOG - KONA*** Interested in a meet and greet or more information, please directly contact the foster - Megan at mae08fsu@gmail.com My husband and I found a young dog (we named her Kona for now) in our neighborhood in October of 2022, not knowing the policy of turning the animal into the shelter prior, we took her to our vet whom our older dog goes to. She was not spayed, not microchipped and we assumed not vaccinated either. In our neighborhood, we have a lot of stray dogs, some of which are females that have had litters of puppies. We believe this female we are housing, is a pup to one of the females around the neighborhood. She is a young, energetic, puppy, so the behaviors she is exhibiting are that of a puppy, which is too much for our older dog. This decision does not come lightly for us, we rescued our current dog from a beach many years ago, and we feel for this young one. We want to find her a loving home with a family that can dedicate the time, energy, and resources to give her what she needs. She is good with other dogs but would be better paired with a more dominant dog or a dog with similar energy levels. Our older dog Finn who is not very playful and her being a puppy creates a few challenges for him. We do not know how she is with cats or children. She is up to date on all vaccinations and is spayed. Her training is still in progress. We occasionally have potty accidents. Megan (mae08fsu@gmail.com) View full description »
Tigress was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan. After much time the owner was never found. We are guessing at breed - based on look. She is fabulous with 2-legged peeps and discretionary with dogs. Does well unless pushed. She is energetic and will need a family that matches her personality. If you would like to meet this girl - just let us know! View full description »
If you love the bullies, you'll love Sarge. He's all that...wiggle butt and face licker! But as bully lovers know - they can be high energy and Sarge is. He loves to play and run. If you're not a runner - a fenced yard could do the job. Sarge loves a lot of things - but he is selective with which male dogs he accepts as a buddy...he does love the ladies ? If you would like more information on this young guy (just over 1 and fully vetted) please give us a call 404-406-6322 View full description »
