Lenny
LennyLenny
  • American Staffordshire Terrier, Hound, Mixed
  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Housebroken
  • Up-to-date with routine shots

From his foster – “Lenny is a sweet boy who loves walks and hiking. He loves to chew on bones and chase balls in the yard. He takes lots of naps and always wants to be close to someone! Such a love bug! He can be a little wary of men, especially in the dark it seems, but once they sit with him for a second he calms down. It’s taken him a few weeks but he’s really starting to open up to the others in the house. I think he’ll do great with a younger family who can take him on a lot of adventures. A family with another young dog that likes playing would be great too! He’s potty trained and really good on a leash. I’m still working on teaching him the basics but he’s learning.” Interested in meeting or knowing more about this guy - contact Mutt Madd-ness. PS - he has adorable teefies! View full description »

Penny

  • Labrador Retriever, Great Dane, Mixed
  • Spayed/Neutered
  • Housebroken
  • Up-to-date with routine shots
  • Prefers home without small kids

NEW from Penny's current foster family - "We've had Penny for a few months now and have really had the chance to get to know her - and we absolutely adore her. She's a very sweet dog and so easy to have around. She's very tolerant of our dog who can be a bit of an attention hog. She's snuggly and affectionate without being demanding. When she wants to be she is FAST and she's very goofy and playful, but is also content to lounge around next to her family all day. She is a little possessive of her food when she's eating, but is very respectful of our dog who is a much slower eater. She loves walks and car rides and has even been a great running companion. This happy pup would be a great addition to any home! " Penny (nee Cristal - from our Champagne litter) came to us on New Years Eve 2016, ergo the name. Just a few weeks old - a group of 6 beautiful and very sweet babies. She was one of the two girls. This was a BIG chunky monkey group at 6 weeks they were weighing in at 15 pounds. 4 years later Penny is back with us. Penny bit their 3 year old (no one saw the incident so have no idea what happened) but sadly they lost all trust in her. We are hoping to find a family for Penny that has older children that are more predictable, or no children. From the family that had her for 4 years. "Penny is a sweet 4 year old Great Dane/Lab mix (80+ pounds). She has been the greatest dog. And we truly love her. She is house trained, but not crate trained. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. Penny loves a good car ride, especially if it ends with ice cream or pupachino. She can find any spot comfortable for a good nap after a nice walk (which she enjoys). She also likes to dress up for holidays, Christmas pajamas or Halloween costume, she's a great sport." We have had Penny evaluated by Tenasity Dog Training -- from the post evaluation notes "All in all I believe Penny is no more of a threat to people or other dogs then most dogs. We will not place with a family with young children. Penny could use some training with 'leave it' and not pulling on her lead." View full description »
