NEW from Penny's current foster family - "We've had Penny since October 2020 and have really had the chance to get to know her - and we absolutely adore her. She's a very sweet dog and so easy to have around. She's very tolerant of our dog who can be a bit of an attention hog. She's snuggly and affectionate without being demanding. When she wants to be she is FAST and she's very goofy and playful, but is also content to lounge around next to her family all day. She is a little possessive of her food when she's eating, but is very respectful of our dog who is a much slower eater. She loves walks and car rides and has even been a great running companion. This happy pup would be a great addition to any home! " Penny (nee Cristal - from our Champagne litter) came to us on New Years Eve 2016, ergo the name. Just a few weeks old - a group of 6 beautiful and very sweet babies. She was one of the two girls. This was a BIG chunky monkey group at 6 weeks they were weighing in at 15 pounds. 4 years later Penny is back with us. Penny bit their 3 year old (no one saw the incident so have no idea what happened) but sadly they lost all trust in her. We are hoping to find a family for Penny that has older children that are more predictable, or no children. The rescue has had Penny evaluated by Tenasity Dog Training -- from the post evaluation notes "All in all I believe Penny is no more of a threat to people or other dogs then most dogs. We will not place with a family with young children. Penny could use some training with 'leave it' and not pulling on her lead." View full description »
